Stuff I'm Doing Online That's Making Money: Becoming An Affiliate For Dar us Salam

Keeping with the theme of my site I want to take a moment to educate you more on what it is to be an Affiliate Marketer and what you must do to become an Affiliate for companies that interest you. I will use my relationship with a company that most of the readers of this page can relate to in respect to having knowledge of who they are and what they do as a organization.

Dar us Salaam Publications is a well known publishing company. In fact, I'm not shy to say that they are more or less the reason for so many publishing companies we see to day in the Muslim Ummah. They are well know for their research into numerous areas of Islaamic Knowledge. They publish books ranging from Al-Qur'aan (in numerous languages), Hadeeth, Tafseer, Aqeedah, Fiqh and more.

As a company they have opened the door for everyday ordinary Muslim men and women to earn money selling there products online and offline. We are able to earn money online by becoming an Affiliate of Dar us Salaam Publications and offline by simply placing an order for a number of books, tapes, clothing, etc. at a discounted price and retailing them in our own business, Da'wah Center or from your home.

Remember from my post What is Affiliate Marketing? where I explained what Affiliate Marketing is and how it works. There are four components to it, but in this case three:

The Customer

This is an example of how simple it is to get started as an Affiliate. I am informing you that it is possible for you to start doing the same thing and earning commissions on the sale of books, tapes, islaamic clothing, electronics and more simply by establishing a relationship as an Affiliate with Dar us Salaam Publications.

It works the same way for an organization (Merchant) that you may be interested in working for and do it from the comfort of you own home or wherever you want. You can be in Egypt, Sa'udi, Morocco or even Algeria studying during the day and creating post, pages, articles or simple ads here and there and earning commissions once a customer come to you Affiliate site and shop.

It is what's called passive income. You do the work one good time and earn from it for as long as Allah Decrees. An example of passive income can be shown in something as simple as the writing of a book or translating it. The Author writes the book once he is paid by the publishing company residual for the sale of every book. The work is published by the publishing company and they earns money from it for generations. The Affiliate puts himself between the Publishing Company and the Customer and earns a commission off of each and every sale.

Let's take a look at the book Tafseer Ibn Kathir. Ibn Kathir (Rahimahullah) was one of the students of Shaykhul Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah (Rahimahullah). He did his explanation of the Qur'aan more that a hundred years ago and it is a book that is indispensable to this day. It has been translated into the English Languages among others and only Allah Knows how much revenue has been generated from the sale of this book..

Now as an Affiliate you simple do small things like write an article, create content in some way that will simply inform your audience that you are able to provide this book to them and how, when and where they can get it from you. Not selling the book but pre-selling the book. Like this page you are on.
